Later, his C-PTSD returns during Emerald Secret when Ein exposes his secret, and Aphmau (under a Forever Potion) tormented him with her "true" opinion on him in high school and even death. Aaron then noticed Xavier trying to flirt with Jenny, much to his suspicion. It is revealed in the next episode that Aphmau soothes him, allowing him to control his eyes. Derek also almost removed his only privilege left: his game, after realizing he can socialize with other people. In "Werewolf Class", he was aggressive towards Balto, a werewolf student, with the fight intensified and Aaron throwing Balto through a window next to the desk. Aphmau and Aaron both blush rose red. Although we don't know how long this has been going on for, it has at least been long enough for Aaron to call his father "sir" and being questioned if he doesn't. He later went around asking werewolves about Ein, who they started to soften up to since he hanged with Aphmau. Choosing to ignore what Aaron said, Derek again changes the subject and tells Aaron he will return to college tomorrow. Ignoring the truth, he said that Aaron went back for that girl. Aaron was ignored as a child because his family was always working with their business. Sylvana suddenly barged into Aphmau's room and saw the two making out. This caused a giant loop in which Derek removed privilege after privilege for Aaron trying to socialize, eventually leading to Derek destroying Aaron's phone in the middle of texting.
When asked what he knew about her, he was able to give several facts such as a cat face she makes when she pouts and her favorite dish in Olive Garden. Regular nightmares are usually visual, but complex PTSD is also emotional, which is why Aaron spend the first five minutes explaining his overwhelming rush of hopelessness during his nightmare to Aphmau. It wasn't until his final year at college that he disregarded his father’s strict rules and broke free from his imprisoned life.
Jenny then apologized to Aaron for treating him unfairly, accepting just being friends. Even though Aaron has shown he doesn't like or appreciate this. According to Jeffory, Aaron transferred from a military academy during his senior year, though Aaron was and presumably still is very sensitive and secretive about his time there, as well as the fact that he went there at all, and doesn't like to talk about it. The more Derek tried however, the more Aaron wanted to be with Aphmau. It was said that in Aaron's senior year of High-school, he was 6'1. In MyStreet: The Emerald Secret he has a greyish-black shirt and a red jacket or hoodie, normal pants, and black boots. It is stated by Aphmau that Aaron likes reading manga over watching anime. However, he wears his bandana again.
He also ends up being a butler for the cafe, helping Aphmau come up with her gimmick for the cafe. However, he was most likely referring to himself as FC and not himself, in A-Con, part 2 he says "Well, I've known OF her since middle school, it wasn't until..." (Aphmau, at this point, has interrupted) he says this after being asked (by Zane) how he and Aphmau met. Derek said that Aphmau probably forgot about him and told him to do himself a favor and forget about her. This proves the power his eyes give him is very complex and confusing. A security agent stopped him and said that they were given direct orders from Derek to always keep an eye on him after that stunt he pulled. But, that he was cursed to turn other humans into half human, half wolves. Aaron takes off all his clothes and then slides down his boxers. Aaron then gave Aphmau a tour of the rather small apartment. Go.
In the Valentine's Day arc, Aaron showed his more carefree and playful behavior to Zane and Aphmau.
