I dunno but I guess it's not good to talk about Private server here, since *uhm*, they're not legal, ... since we're playing the official servers and there is so much differences between official server and private server. Other point to have in mind is how hard it'd be to obtain rare stuff and make a progress beyond low-mid level, Private server gives far more free stuff, or rather, it's easier to acquire than the official server. You can get to lvl 80 for 2 days and 5 days for lvl 80 - 90.

An up to date server, fully functioning, with all the Aura Kingdom's features that more than 20.000 players has already enjoyed since its recent release. Also, since it takes content from the Taiwanese version (that's what I read at least), what does endgame in Aura Kingdom look like currently?

Aesthetics wise this game is a weeaboo wet dream which deterred me in some ways but the combat (tab target w/ low GCD) is enjoyable. I play on the official but also took a look on the private (about 30 min gameplay) before choosing a server, both seem to have equal amount of activity though private server has mostly Latins from what i could see, but perhaps someone that plays on the private could give a more concrete answer.
I'm Australia South-East Coast, i use the plain servers with a 1mb connection and am majoritavely fine when playing the game (well, the last time i played it was 1 year~ ago....) but it had a pretty good connection to me until you get into popular places like the Navera Market place or you try to glide across the map (though, considering the act of gliding and the speed you get through the map, it makes sense it would lag) and the Sky Tower but i could still do dungeons, quests, a very few dungeon runs with others (though personally i didn't do this often at all) it was fine. Guess I picked a bad time to play though. Been a long ass time since I've bothered with this game, but from what I've seen the GM's on ak.to are apparently god awful. Why do I keep getting apprentice sword and shield every day? Lag wise, both are the same (I am located in the USA), money wise, I am not sure about how the donation option in the private server differs to the AP in the normal server, I would not either donate or buy AP since most of the things you can get with LP in both servers or just by questing / farming. It's a private server, so I'm going to bet that not many people here have played it which means your questions probably won't be answered. ... We can't really help you here, since we're playing the official servers and there is so much differences between official server and private server. And most importantly, PS is so F2P-friendly and isn't infested with bots. I have to disagree with some of your points of how you described Private Server.
