I have also divided the starters into images, films and poetry. I am an NQT in year 3 and have to teach comprehension for an hour three times a week. So helpful! It also helps parents, staff and OfSTED (boo!) Thanks for your kind words. Children put up their hands to offer their response to the Choice question. I really like this, thank you.
