DPS isn't great, but you can have some real interesting fights. Another amazing ship with a reputation issue, the neut bonus, while awesome, means that people fear you and you’re likely to get turboblobbed.

The brawl setups are lacking because of missile application but the cruise brawler is pretty decent and unexpected. Is it correct to assume that it's just not suitable for the current meta? Base Time to Warp is essentially the time needed for this ship to align and accelerate until it reaches 75% of its top speed and goes to warp. It's possible you could roam solo with it but since you have to ask where it fits, I'm going to assume that solo roaming with this BS is not the correct plan for you. The Abaddon is a highly skill intensive battleship and due to its cost shouldn't be fielded unless proper skills are able to justify its abilities. With this battleship the DPS isn't lacking either. This makes the Abaddon a "high skill" ship for PvE, because it requires good core skills to keep its lasers firing while powering its tank. It's not a very forgiving ship. You should have maxed capacitor skills and controlled bursts to at least 4 for an Amarr BS. Bubbles are a Pain, and getting back to a gate takes forever without. Though really, tackle should be left to smaller ships. The Abaddon for your SP is a bad, like really bad idea. NApoc just performs better at the role for the price after the prices for abaddons spiked up a bit. Some people enjoy fleet fights, some the thrill (and ISK) of finding and killing that officer NPC, but there are few experiences in EVE Online as intense and gratifying as facing another pilot in 1v1 combat. The bonus to tank and the high damage makes the Abaddon a popular PvP ship, where its difficulty staying cap stable is also not so much of an issue, especially when fitted with artillery as an alpha doctrine. XLASB has the issue of needing 2 slots and massive fittings and if you don’t fit a cap booster (most don’t) you lose your invulns if neuted and consequently a shitload of tank. Often when you run into gangs, you end up killing their tackle (thank you mr flycatcher) then burn to a gate and escape, sometimes you get awesome fights where battlecrusiers decide to switch to void ammo to try and break you... often lose my ship then, but take a few with me.
