Christine is the recipient of the 2020 “Woman of Distinction Award” from the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, the 2020 “Women in American History” Award from the New Jersey State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NJDAR), the 2019 “Silver Gull Award for Government Leadership” from the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, the 2018 “Person of the Year Award” from the Monmouth County Fraternal Order of Police, Superior Officer’s Lodge #30, and the 2017 “Spinnaker Award for Public Service” from the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. She then served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York, from 1993 to 1997, during which time she prosecuted white collar, narcotics and violent felony cases as a member of the Arson and Economic Crime Unit.
